About PESCO

PESCO, short for Peshawar Electric Supply Company, emerged from the transformation of the Peshawar District Electricity Council into a distinct legal entity, facilitating its commercial operations and eventual privatization. Serving over 2.6 million customers across urban areas of Pakistan, PESCO is instrumental in delivering power distribution services. Its network encompasses KPK’s power distribution system, featuring 132 kV, 66 kV, and 33 kV substation lines, along with 11 kV and 440 V low voltage substations and lines, ensuring electricity connectivity to residences and businesses.

PESCO Circles

PESCO, the Peshawar Electric Supply Company, is divided into several circles to efficiently manage its operations and services across different areas. These circles ensure effective distribution and maintenance of electricity supply within their respective regions. They play a crucial role in addressing customer needs, maintaining infrastructure, and managing power distribution networks. Each circle is responsible for overseeing a designated geographical area, ensuring reliable electricity provision to consumers within that region.

  1. Peshawar Circle
  2. Mardan Circle
  3. Hazara Circle
  4. Swat Circle
  5. Kohat Circle
  6. Bannu Circle
  7. Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan) Circle

These circles represent specific geographical areas and are responsible for managing electricity distribution within their respective regions under the umbrella of PESCO.
